We’re told it’s Ashley. It could be Mary-Kate. We wouldn’t know. (Via Mary-KateAndAshley.com)
The Hangover world tour with Justin Bartha and Ashley Olsen chugged into its second day with the couple dining at Yellowtail inside Bellagio for a sashimi platter and black river sake. Then they went up the Strip to The Palazzo for a showing of Jersey Boys. Meanwhile, Bartha keeps trying to set Mary-Kate up with National Treasure co-star Jon Voight so the four of them can double date.

Admit it. You totally loved her in Bring It On: In It to Win It.
The House Bunny’s Jennifer Tisdale, sister of High School Musical’s Ashley Tisdale, was at Yellowtail inside Bellagio last night for a birthday dinner before moving on the The Bank to celebrate. Her sister is also known for her tireless efforts to spread the message of tween-pop, a genre of music that’s criminally underrepresented.

Yellowtail Sushi drew in more celebs than you could shake a wasabi-coated chopstick at with its grand opening Friday night at Bellagio. Not that we’d ever recommend flinging wasabi at the famous, but if you did, for example, have a crazed Gary Busey baring down on you, it’d be effective if you could get some in the eyes. It might not stop him, but it’d slow him down.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Eva Longoria, Charlie and Brooke Sheen, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Wilmer Valderrama, Michelle Rodriguez, Ryan Cabrera, Marlon Wayans, Shar Jackson, Janelle Perry, Rick Solomon, Brandon Davis, Destiny Davis and Veronica Grabwoski all turned out for the opening of the Light Group’s newest digs.
Executive Chef Akira Back is a former pro snowboarder who appeared on Iron Chef America, and his beef tataki was such a hit with Paris Hilton she went back for multiple servings. Valderrama, meanwhile, bought shots for Longoria’s table even though she wasn’t indulging. We’re not sure what the point is in going to a big new sushi joint if you’re not going to give sake a second look, but whatever. Click for more words and pictures »

We used to know a guy that did the Bill Cosby pudding pop voice a lot. He’s around the clubs somewhere.
Not to be outdone by the likes of Saved by the Bell and 90210, who spent the weekend reminding Vegas of their existence, Malcolm Jamal Warner breezed into town on Tuesday to represent for the Huxtables. If you don’t know the Huxtables, we can’t help you.
Warner/Theo dined on eel, yellowtail and sashimi at Yellowtail in the Bellagio, washing it all back with a Kirin beer – what would the Cos say?

Light Group continues its culinary takeover of Las Vegas this summer when it opens its latest restaurant venture, Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant & Bar, at the Bellagio. Replacing the space formerly occupied by Shintaro, Yellowtail will further build Light’s dominance of the Bellagio, as it will be located in close proximity to Caramel, Fix and The Bank.
In addition to offering a stunning view of the Bellagio’s world-famous lake and fancing fountains, Yellowtail also will offer a dazzling Japanese menu, featuring both traditional and modern selections created by award-winning chef Akira Back. A multi-course Omakase menu will afford diners the opportunity to sample the chef’s best creations in small portions.
As with Light’s other culinary ventures, ambiance is an important element of Yellowtail’s design, and New York-based Rockwell Group is ensuring its elegant wood and stone décor lends to both a vibrant and intimate atmosphere in the restaurant, which includes a 180-seat dining room, 30-seat lounge and 30-seat private dining room. The key design element of the space is a 25-by-13-foot bronze installation at the entrance resembling the dorsal side of Yellowtail’s namesake. Click for more words and pictures »
