Talib Kweli and a friend dropped in at Drai’s inside Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon Friday night, while huge fan of the venue Suge Knight came around on Saturday. We’d have thought by know Suge would be training, Rocky style to get himself back into “don’t sucker punch this guy” shape, but what do we know?

It wasn’t just musicians (or Death Row moguls) out and about during the weekend. The requisite athlete contingent showed up, too. Boston Celtics center Scott Pollard was at Venus Pool Club at Caesars Palace Saturday for champagne and margaritas.

Steven Jackson of the St. Louis Rams dined at Dos Caminos inside The Palazzo Friday night, while Fix at Bellagio hit it big Saturday with Jermaine O’Neal of the Toronto Raptors doing shots of Patron with the Celtics’ Paul Pierce. The Great One, No. 99, Wayne Gretzky, meanwhile was at a separate table for lobster tacos with his wife and family. Sidelined Angels pitcher Kelvim Escobar also brought the family to Fix, opting for the pork chops.

O’Neal was at it again on Sunday, doing Brunch at Hash House A Go Go (6800 W. Sahara Ave.) for waffles, which we’re probably correct to assume were ginormous.

It can’t be that great in Beverly Hills, as star of the soon-to-come and soon-to-go new 90210 series, AnnaLynn McCord, picked Vegas as the venue for her 21st birthday. We can only assume the Peach Pit was full up.

McCord started the day in a VIP cabana at Venus Pool Club at Caesars, where basketball player Shawn Marion and boxer Sergio Mora were also spotted being model citizens. 

With an entourage of family and friends on her heels, McCord, who has also done work on Nip/Tuck, stopped at Social House in Treasure Island for yellowtail jalapeno and Kobe sliders before sashaying over to Pure, also at Caesars, where an amazing remix of the 90210 theme song, complete with fist-pumping, was not played. McCord was spotted at Venus Pool Club again on Sunday.

YEAH-HEAH-HEAH! Who wants some of those Johnnycakes NOW, suckers?

Luxor’s LAX saw Jamie Foxx continue his march up and down the clubs last night as he drank Veuve Clicquot on the VIP stage, near Sopranos actor Joe Gannascoli. Gannascoli played Vito Spatafore, everyone’s favorite gay mobster who died having a broomstick shoved up his ass.

That, kids, is why crime doesn’t pay.

Also at the club were enemy of good taste Jerry Bruckheimer, singer/songwriter Ryan Cabrera, Marcus Banks of the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks draftee Joe Alexander. If we had known Bruckheimer was going to be around, we’d have brought our script to pitch. It’s a tender biopic of the life of Harriet Tubman, wherein shit blows up all up and down the Underground Railroad. We see Tracy Morgan delivering an Oscar-winning turn as Tubman. With The View taping in town, it was inevitable that Barbara Walters would turn her head for a hot second and have the rest of her coffee klatch wander away, unsupervised. Elisabeth Hasslebeck and Sherri Shepherd settled in at a VIP cabana at Caesars Palace’s Venus Pool Club yesterday, although we suspect that the pool’s Romanesque decor confused Shepherd, who still hasn’t quite nailed down the concept of Before Christ and Anno Domini. Linebacker Junior Seau, late of the 18-1 New England Patriots (Did we mention they were 18-1? They definitely were 18-1. Because they lost. To the Giants. In the Super Bowl. No, that won’t ever get old, but thanks for asking.) spent Monday afternoon drinking Corona and Southern Comfort at the Venus Pool Club at Caesars Palace in a VIP cabana.

From there, Seau and company went over to Social House for dinner on the patio, sake bombs, and quiet jealousy over the fact that Amani Toomer and Eli Manning have Super Bowl rings.

Zowie Bowie was also spotted at Social House Monday, while other local fixtures Carrot Top and Mike Tyson made it to Pure last night. Much like Seau and teammate Rodney Harrison, neither Carrot Top nor Tyson were able to subvert fate, destiny and an acrobatic David Tyree in front of 70,000 screaming fans on Feb. 3.
