There’s only two days left until Valentine’s Day, DailyFiasco faithful. Is your Necco heart overflowing with sugary goodness yet? Are you ready to get your game on?
Well, Social House at Treasure Island is. Its Watermelon Passion Sake is a refreshing, sweet take on traditional sake. You can get it at Social House not only on V-Day, but anytime through the summer. But if you want to tackle it on your own, we had a Russian spy get the recipe for us.
First, in a pitcher, muddle fresh-cut watermelon to taste in a mixture of 20 parts Ozeki sake and one part rock candy syrup. Let sit in refrigerator for four to five days, stirring once daily. Strain to remove all pulp and seeds and serve chilled in a glass carafe. If that sounds like too much work, we agree: Just go to Social House. Let the experts handle this.

OK, so we covered what some of the top restaurants in Las Vegas are offering on Valentine’s Day, but maybe you’re looking for something a little … naughtier. Well, never let it be said DailyFiasco doesn’t come through for you.
Perhaps you might want to find a new, ahem, “friend” for your V-Day 2008. Well, Penthouse Club Las Vegas (3525 W. Thought you were safe from a Valentine’s cocktail today, weren’t you? Not likely. This one sounds pretty good, though: On Thursday, Feb. 14 only, Sushi Roku inside the Forum Shops at Caesars is offering the Dragon Kiss cocktail for $14.
This concoction comes together when eight mint leaves and the juice from a fresh lime are muddled together and then shaken over ice with a half ounce of White Tea Fusion, 1-1/2 ounces of Disaronno and 1-1/2 ounces of lemon sour. The combination is then strained into a martini glass and garnished with — what else — a rose petal.
Dear Sushi Roku: Do you deliver … cocktails?

Sick of Valentine’s Day-related anything right now? Too bad. We have another V-Day-exclusive cocktail in which you may be interested.
The fine folks at Company American Bistro in the Luxor are offering a special drink on Feb. 14: The PAMA Kiss. Come on, how can you not love a drink with the word “kiss” in the name? It’s an aphrodisiac before it even hits your lips!
In this case, it’s 3/4 ounces Zyr vodka, 1-1/2 ounces PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur and a half-ounce of cranberry juice shaken with ice and strained into a martini glass rimmed with crystal sugar. If you don’t want to try that at home, we suggest making reservations for you and your sweetheart at Company on Valentine’s Day, which is open from 5:30 p.m. to midnight for your enjoyment.

But I digress … For those of you looking to make friends jealous by blasting your fabulous Valentine’s pics all over MySpace or for those just looking to score, Daily Fiasco has kindly – and with love, of course – made a list of some cool restaurants and happenings about town for your over-the-top, love-filled extravaganza.
