We’re surprised Cudi didn’t have to hold up a big “F” logo while he was on stage.
The Famous Stars & Straps party at Pure inside Caesars Palace last night drew Travis Barker, naturally rolling with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, Rob Dyrdek and Paul Wall in Barker’s entourage. Asher Roth did “I Love College” to open the night’s entertainment with Kid Cudi following to do “Day and Night.” The best part about having Paul Wall in your crew? Free grills for everyone.
Turning out for the party were Oakland’s Javon Walker, former Grizzly Antoine Walker, the Colts’ Dwight Freeny, the Cowboys’ Tank Johnson and the Chargers’ Shawne Merriman, who were joined later in the night by Benji Madden. (We already warned you about this.) E-40, Shane Mosley, David Williams and Too Short were also in the club.

Friends of DJ AM have put together a benefit show featuring DJs Steve Aoki, Mark Ronson, Mixmaster Mike and Danny Masterson with proceeds going to a memorial fund for victims of the Sept. 19 plane crash in South Carolina that killed four people — pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, co-pilot James Bland, 52, Barker’s assistant, 29-year-old Chris Baker, and Charles Still, 25. Set for Oct. 14 at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, tickets are $20. Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and AM were both severely burned in the accident, but have both since returned to their homes and are expected to make a full recovery.
He’s just now getting everything in the hospital set up for him – iPods, computers, everything that he needs … You got to make sure he is comfortable.”

More information is coming out about the late-Friday plane crash that left former Blink-182 drummer and DJ AM in critical condition. People magazine reports that a tire blowout may have been responsible for the crash, citing the cockpit voice recorder.
According to an NTSB spokeswoman, the plane attempted to abort takeoff, but was too late.
Mandy Moore, a former girlfriend of AM, flew to the hospital to be with the DJ. Barker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, is also at the hospital.
UPDATE: Video of police arriving on the scene has been released. On the tape, what is apparently Barker’s voice can be heard.

(T)he two men were running around and pulling off clothing to put out the flames. He said he asked them whether anyone else was on board the plane, and they said four people were with them.”
