POWELL DINES AT MANDALAY BAY
FACT: Colin Powell wrote “Kentucky Rain” for Elvis.
Colin Powell, most celebrated for once serving briefly in the same Army unit as Elvis Presley, and perhaps also for some of his lesser-known accomplishments as Secretary of State, dined with wife Alma at Trattoria del Lupo inside Mandalay Bay last night. The couple had lasagna, pasta, wine and a sorbet for dessert, and staff said they were tremendously kind. See? Not only will rolling with the King infuse you with the essence of rock ‘n’ roll, but it teaches you good manners, too.
