Just a quick reminder, because we know how muddled up your brains get with all that reality TV you watch: Teatro Afterhours is launching its new weekly industry night, “House of Love,” tonight. DJs Digital Boy and Chris Garcia will provide the sexy soundtrack while you drink away memories of the long night you spent watching other people have fun.

Teatro is located at Harmon Avenue and the Strip, adjacent to the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort. In case you forgot that, too.

Adult superstar Teagan Presley hosts an AVN after-party. Teatro, located adjacent to Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino, is the perfect venue for Presley — it’s sexy, intimate and inviting. We’re getting kind of hot just thinking about it. Head over there and let the sounds of DJ Digital Boy move you as you bask in Presley’s, um, presence.

If you can’t get enough of Teatro, come back Saturday night for another AVN-related bash to celebrate DJ Mykonos’ birthday. I’m sure they won’t mind seeing you twice.

Well, it helped keep us up all night. Teatro Afterhours launched last night…er, this morning in the space next to Krave nightclub at Harmon Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard formerly filled by Lucky Cheng’s, and before that Krave Lounge, and before that E.A.T., and … well, you get the point.

Teatro — a production of nightlife entertainment and networking group Showcase Events — was created to revive the sensual, fun atmosphere of the after-hours parties held a few years ago inside the MGM Grand’s Teatro lounge, which was reconfigured as Rouge about two years ago. In its (brief) heyday, Teatro was something like the fusion of a strip club and ultralounge, sexy go-go dancers in their bare essentials bumping and grinding as phat beats pumped through the speakers and guests enjoyed the ambiance afforded by the red leather surroundings.

Well, now red leather is red velvet, with about double (triple) the space, but Pedi Amiri and the Showcase peeps have brought back the dancers (meow), the DJs and even the staff from the original Teatro. And if the opening party was any indication, they’re off to a good start. Click for more words and pictures »
