We’re inching closer to Playboy-UFC crossover where models square off in the octagon. (Photo by Joe Coomber)
Playboy cover model and UFC All Access host Rachelle Leah was at Tao inside The Venetian Saturday night after the fight. It’s got to be good for a girl’s ego to be surrounded all the time by a bunch of dudes who take punches for a living. Even a dead cat with some eyeliner would start to look pretty good in comparison.
Kenny Florian followed up his win over Joe Stevenson with a trip to Tao where Mandy Moore stopped by to congratulate him.
Speaking of Playboy, playmate of the year Sara Underwood was at Tabu inside MGM Grand, where she got her groove on to the New Kids on the Block. God, it’s like junior high all over again. If we see one dude with an eight-ball jacket in the club, we’re flat-out giving up.
Revolution inside The Mirage had Serj Tankian of System of a Down, who was neither in Playboy nor in the UFC, but did nonetheless write “Suite Pee,” so that’s got to count for something, right?

Whose eyes are more dead and soulless: Aubrey O’Day or the crab costume on her dog? (Photos by Scott Harrison | Retna)
Aubrey O’Day — late of Danity Kane — brought her dog, Ginger to Tabu inside MGM Grand Friday night. In a Halloween costume. There’s a special place in Hell reserved for people who dress up their dogs for Halloween. Oh, we’ll concede reindeer antlers on a pooch come Christmas — because that’s hilarious — but full-on costumes should warrant a SWAT-style intervention from the ASPCA.
O’Day had the dog dressed up as Sebastian to go with her Ariel getup, dragging date Jeremy Anderson of The Bachelor along as Prince Eric. O’Day was serving as the arbiter of the costume contest, having learned the finer points of sitting in judgment of others from Diddy.
Also at Tabu was Kassim Osgood of the San Diego Chargers who, in a flurry of coincidence, came as Ursula.

Young Hot Rod’s single “I Like to Fuck” was recently honored by the Academy as the Least Subtle Song of All-Time.
Tabu at MGM Grand brought in Tha Alkaholiks to kick things off for a 20-minute set at a KNYEW Clothing party and ended up with the G-Unit. Sorry, Lloyd Banks fans, but this time it was Young Hot Rod who got on stage for a surprise show while KNYEW co-founder DJ Crooked took over on the turntables.

We’re sure you stunned all your friends and wowed the ladies by sending that five bones to a fiery grave. For your next trick, you should melt down a handful of nickels there, Billy Gates.

DJ Scotty Boy, left, clearly loves the Blow. (Photo by Jessica Blair | SpyOnVegas.com)
DJ Scotty Boy got the night off from spinning for Rok Box at Tabu inside MGM Grand for his birthday. He was joined by DJ AM to celebrate. Also there was former Olympic wrestler and current MMA fighter Dan Henderson.
If you were a former Olympic wrestler would you ever stop putting people into half nelsons? We wouldn’t. That includes the clerk at the grocery store, the cop who’s writing us a ticket and Estelle Getty.

Easily in the top five of drug-friendly, Armenian, borderline prog metal bands ever. (Via myspace.com/soad)
Drummer John Dolmayan and bassist Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down dropped by Rok Box at MGM Grand’s Tabu last night to swig Red Bull/vodkas and hanging out with DJ Scotty Boy.
You know guys, Serj Tankian is busy putting out solo records. Maybe you shouldn’t be worrying so much about clubbing, and should be thinking about getting the band back together to put out another record like Toxicity. No one wants to be the metal version of the rest of ‘N Sync after Justin Timberlake left, however, an album of all System-ish covers of ‘N Sync songs would be inspired.

One more Kid’s Choice Award away from being taken seriously as an artist. (Via AvrilLavigne.com)
Avril Lavigne dropped in on Tabu at MGM Grand last night for its Rok Box party, drinking Grey Goose Screwdrivers until 3 a.m. Lavigne is in town for a show tonight at The Pearl inside The Palms. Lavigne, according to Canadian Business Online, was the seventh-most powerful Canadian in Hollywood in 2006, which really doesn’t speak well of Canada. She ranked behind Jim Carrey, Mike Myers and William Shatner, but ahead of an empty Molson bottle, a dirty set of goalie’s pads and Matthew Perry.
Also at Tabu last night was Dennis Haskins, who isn’t Canadian, but if he were, would probably rank somewhere between Shatner and Keanu Reeves.
Following the concert, the official afterparty will be at Moon, featuring DJ P, who will showcase no fewer than 14 independent remixes of “Sk8er Boi.”

Please stop dripping Visine on the table. It’s not funny anymore.
House Society Crew DJs Keith Evan, Carlos Sanchez and B. Minogue are celebrating seven years of the Soundbar party tonight at MGM Grand’s Tabu by bringing in DJ Doc Martin to spin deep house and make sturdy, dependable shoes.
Soundbar started out at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay and has bounced around seven venues before landing at Tabu.

Is this a Carrie Underwood PR still, or the first four seconds of a Valtrex commercial? (Via CarrieUnderwoodOfficial.com)
Carrie Underwood was at Tabu inside MGM Grand yesterday to tape her latest video, “Last Name,” in which a sweet, naive young girl comes to Sin City for a weekend and wakes up married to a guy whose last name she doesn’t know.
So, it’s come to this, then, has it Carrie Underwood? You’re blatantly stealing our life story without so much as a hint of a royalty check? We’ll tell you what, that girl may have seemed sweet and innocent, but no one that pure, no matter how much Patron they’ve had forced down their throat, agrees to a quickie wedding with six strippers and a drunken Elvis impersonator in the chapel.
Some of Tabu’s staff served as extras in the video, undoubtedly an insidious gateway to leading our precious nightclub staff down the pernicious, dusty road to Nashville.
