WEILAND AT LAVO FOR CD RELEASE

Scott Weiland, fresh off his sauced-up introduction of Pink at the AMAs where he was about one Stoli shot away from booting on the mic, was at Lavo inside The Palazzo last night to celebrate the release of his second solo album, Happy in Galoshes.

Weiland was with producer Douglas Grean and his backing band for dinner before heading up to the club where he drank champagne. We’re sure he thought the champagne was pretty good, but that it could use a little more heroin.

DJ Five spun Weiland’s cover of David Bowie’s “Fame” off the new disc — a track that was produced and mixed by Paul Oakenfold — as Weiland ducked out of the club.

HE’S NOT DEAD AND BLOATED YET

In fact, he’s smelling like a rose that somebody gave him on his birthday deathbed.

Prive at Planet Hollywood Resort gets down to the core of things Saturday night as former Velvet Revolver and back-with-Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland comes to town in a plush gig as the host for the evening. We assume it’ll be a big bang, baby unless some creep shows up to make it a sex type thing. (Oh God, stop us before we pun again!)

If that were the case, we’d turn purple with rage as all the sour girls fled, making it a big empty. After all, no one wants to resort to Vasoline. (Gah! It’s too late!) Meanwhile, newly reformed STP will play The Pearl at The Palms June 12. If you don’t get down it’ll be a sin, but if you do, you’re right next to the theaters, where you could take in a lady picture show. (OK, that’s it. We’re done now. We swear.)

Meanwhile, over at Hawaiian Tropic Zone, Playboy playmate Athena Lundberg will be celebrating her birthday. Maybe she’ll hit the I-15 on her way out of town singing a love song. You know, an interstate love song. (That’s … that’s not even appropriate. We’re disgusted with ourselves right now.)
