Couldn’t anyone have even made a call to Loni Anderson? (Via myspace.com/djaurajin)
Revolution Lounge at The Mirage debuts another new party tonight with Cypher Monday, bringing in DJs John Doe and Aurajin of The Get Back and Johnny Fever. Not the one from WKRP in Cincinnati. Although we could totally dig it if they could get Howard Hesseman to spin at the clubs. Click for more words and pictures »

This is where the magic happens.
The easiest way to do something cool on Tuesdays is now going to be the easiest way to do something cool on Sundays. Something that isn’t watch this week’s episode of The Soup for the twelfth time, we mean.
Live Revolution over at Revolution Lounge is moving to Sundays starting August 10. The Sunday kickoff show will feature Afghan Raiders, Wallpaper and DJs Mike Attack and Aurajin.

Rocket, yeah! Satellite of love! (Look, it was Def Leppard or making an Ike Turner “Rocket 88″ crack. We’re not proud.)
Revolution Lounge inside The Mirage kicks off Rocket Wednesdays tonight with DJ Spair of the Oakland Faders bringing the rock. In fact, the party will hinge on bringing the rock weekly, much the same way Scorpions frontman Klaus Meine brings the rock weekly, in hurricane form. OK, it probably won’t be anything like Klaus Meine, but we’re holding out for at least a couple of spins of fellow rock dwarf Ronnie James Dio. Try to deny the majestic power that is “Rainbow in the Dark” blasting in a club. Go ahead, just try. You can? Alright, fine. Be that way. If you insist on not rocking, read on for your options. Events at 10 p.m. unless noted. Click for more words and pictures »

Retro-rocker and fashion plate Lenny Kravitz might have bowed out of his scheduled San Francisco concert date Saturday night due to illness, but maybe it’s because he figured a surefire cure would be a weekend in Las Vegas. Instead of playing for the flower-power set in the City by the Bay, the former Mr. Lisa Bonet checked into the Hard Rock Hotel’s Penthouse Suite Saturday, presumably to rest up for his planned Sunday night concert at the Pearl inside the Palms.
Kravitz’s Pearl concert went off without a hitch, and after rocking the masses despite his ongoing flu battle (we feel ya, Lenny!), the genre-recycling rocker even made time to hop over to The Beatles Revolution Lounge inside the Mirage to talk with ABC about his forthcoming album, It is Time For A Love Revolution, which drops Feb. 5.
