When convicted felons run wild over you?

Hulk Hogan brought his son, Nick, to the Hard Rock Hotel today. The duo will be at the hotel through the week. Wonder how that New Nick … or Something reality show is going? Ah, well. We prefer to remember the Hulk in happier times. Times narrated by Jesse “The Body” Ventura and Gorilla Monsoon. Also at the Hard Rock was Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who’s had his own car-related problems, eating lunch with two friends at Pink Taco.

Meanwhile, over at Social House inside Treasure Island, Alaskan gap-toothed yodeler and poetry writer Jewel had dinner last night.

Panic at the Disco band members Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Jon Walker and Spencer Smith were seen having lunch today at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Pink Taco.

The Las Vegas band’s second LP Pretty. Odd. will be released tomorrow. The quartet recently dropped the exclamation point from its name. No word yet on whether Sacramento-based indie act !!! has acquired the orphaned punctuation in an effort to become !!!!.

If you’re an Ashlee Simpson fan, then this was a good Las Vegas weekend for you, as the Artist Formerly Known as Jessica’s Little Sister made the rounds prior to her scheduled Saturday night performance at LAX inside the Luxor.

Friday night, Simpson, her father Joe and guitarist Ray Brady dropped by Pink Taco at the Hard Rock Hotel. She grabbed a mic to toast her father’s birthday and played two preview tracks from her forthcoming new album.

Also spotted in the Hard Rock on Friday night was Sarah Silverman, who played two shows the following night at The Joint, as well as FOX TV anchor Jason Feinberg, who dined with friends at AGO. Click for more words and pictures »

With the transition of the former Simon’s Kitchen and Bar into the Tuscan-style Italian restaurant Ago, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino head honchos could have easily forgotten about its smaller, less-fancy-but-ever-so-fashionable locals’ favorite, Pink Taco — but for everyone’s sake, they didn’t. After undergoing some quiet modifications, the hotel’s raucous Mexican hideaway is back and better than ever (or, so we’ll see). After 12 years, the popular eatery will be celebrating its grand re-opening on Friday, Feb. 1, as well as the launch of a new monthly event, “Cinco de Taco.”

For the grand re-opening fiesta, expect minute changes, such as a newly extended bar, additional TV screens and much more space to get your grub on – but don’t fret, the menu is still the same, so count on the authentic food Sin City has come to love. The Baja-style restaurant revamp party’s specialty drink for the night, pink margaritas, are only $5 a piece. And for you listening pleasure, special guest DJ D-Wrek, from MTV’s Wild ‘N Out, will begin spinning his ass-shaking beats starting at 10 p.m. ¡Ole! Click for more words and pictures »

John Krasinksi — better known as Jim Halpert on the crazy popular NBC show The Office — popped up at Body English Saturday night for “Smashtime,” after being invited by host and E! talking head Ben Lyons. Krasinski — in town for a bachelor party — kept it real in a baseball cap, presumably to appear incognito, though our guess is that he ended up being the only guy in a nightclub with a baseball cap on, thus backfiring his plan. Other gents helping with the festivities included Lyons’ co-hosts, Sal Masekela and Clinton Sparks, and MTV joker Andy Milonakis.

Either way, it was another celebrity-studded weekend for the Hard Rock Hotel, as earlier that day pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, star of MTV’s Life of Ryan, was spotted having lunch with his father at Pink Taco. Who doesn’t love a little Pink Taco now and then?
