Panic at the Disco got a surprise visit from Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz last night for the joint Ryan Ross/Spencer Smith birthday celebration at Blush inside Wynn Las Vegas. Pete was hiding in the VIP room when the Panic boys strolled into the club.
The crew and 40 or so friends hung out in the VIP room where they were served with a music-themed birthday cake. They were going to go with a cutter theme to keep it emo, but no one could figure out how to make a giant razor out of frosting.

Panic at the Disco played for the hometown crowd at The Pearl inside The Palms Friday night which, coupled with CineVegas made parking somewhat more challenging than solving a Rubik’s Cube by sense of smell.
Panic’s spiritual twin, Ted Nugent, meanwhile, took on House of Blues at Manadalay Bay on Saturday. They’re basically the same act, and though Panic’s cover of “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” was faithful to the original, it’s just not the same as seeing the man himself shoot a compound bow at his guitar right after “Stranglehold” ends.

Music is the Currency at The Palms’ Rain takes a break tonight from old school hip-hop to bring in locals Panic at the Disco to host. The band is set to play The Pearl tonight, and is also poolside right now for Ditch Fridays.
Rumors that the poolside appearance will prompt an all-Beach Boys and Surfaris set for tonight’s show are as yet unconfirmed.

FACT: These guys will collectively punch you in the neck if you mistake them for Fall Out Boy.
Panic at the Disco band members Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Jon Walker and Spencer Smith were seen having lunch today at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Pink Taco.
The Las Vegas band’s second LP Pretty. Odd. will be released tomorrow. The quartet recently dropped the exclamation point from its name. No word yet on whether Sacramento-based indie act !!! has acquired the orphaned punctuation in an effort to become !!!!.
