SANDLER FIXATES ON CARDS AT PLAYBOY

You don’t mess with the card sharp. (Photo by Erik Kabik)

Following yesterday’s poker tournament, the celebs scattered to the seven winds. Adam Sandler and a group of four wound up at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms for dinner, before heading up to the Playboy Club. Sandler spent most of his time playing blackjack, and, we imagine, doing one of the three voices in his repertoire.

Charles Barkley was also at N9NE and ate with a friend at the bar, where he also asked the bartender if she’d marry him for a million bucks. For a million, we’d have guarded Dennis Rodman for Barkley.

Meanwhile, Don Cheadle, Annie Duke and Ben Affleck decamped for Sushi Roku at Caesars Palace, while Ray Romano ate with Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines at Tao inside The Venetian; and Jason Alexander was at Bellagio’s Fix. Michael Richards, meanwhile, still isn’t allowed out in public.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

WOOOOOOOOO! (Via WWE.com)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! (OK, OK, we’ll stop now.) Ric Flair was spotted last night at N9NE Steakhouse inside The Palms wearing — oh God, this is almost too awesome to type — a T-shirt with an arrow pointing up and reading “Man,” and an arrow pointing down reading, “Legend.”

That’s how the Nature Boy does it. He was with a crew of 30 in the private dining room, and came back at the end of the night to sign Chef Barry Dakake’s door. We’re not saying at some point that a server who was a little slow with the bread was put in a figure-four leg-lock, but if it did happen, let’s just say this is why you don’t let a former champion’s rolls cool off, you know?

MOON AT MOON

His favorite Bond movie had better be Moonraker.

Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside The Palms last night with five other guests. He later settled in at a table at Moon. If he sat at his table eating a Moons Over My Hammy and stopped to moon the crowd while the DJ put on Tommy Dorsey’s “Moonglow,” we’re pretty sure our head would’ve exploded.

ON THE REBOUND FROM REHAB

At least in the desert he doesn’t run much risk of boating incidents.

Well, if the reports of rehab are true, Dennis Rodman is wasting no time shaking off the effects. Rodman was eating dinner at N9NE Steakhouse last night the same way a businessman in the ’50s would eat a three-martini lunch.

Rodman, with a group of six friends and his oldest daughter, alternated Cape Cods, Patron Silver and Jagermeister. Hey, the cranberry juice in those Capes has a lot of sugar, and that’s more or less like food. Don’t judge. Rodman introduced his daughter to Executive Chef Barry Dakake, who gave her a bag of cookies to take up to her room. After tucking her in, Rodman was out at Ghostbar, drinking Jager and posing for pictures.

Meanwhile, Apprentice Season 1 winner Bill Rancic had a birthday dinner at N9NE with his wife, E! News anchor Giuliana DePandi Rancic, who drank a Peachy Lychee while her husband went with the Pomtini. We don’t think Trump would approve of that choice, and he’d probably give you a 20-minute dissertation on why not.

FUTURE HOME OF BUFFALO MINI-CAMP

“Why no, I haven’t heard the one about Scott Norwood’s suicide attempt. Do tell.” (Via ThurmanThomas.net)

If there’s one measly thing we’ve learned in this lifetime, it’s that Buffalo Bills love Las Vegas. They can’t stay away. Melvin Fowler is all over the place, and last month he brought JP Losman and Daryl Boykins with him. Now it’s Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas’ turn.

Thomas was at N9NE Steakhouse at The Palms last night for dinner with five friends, trying the oven roasted Scottish salmon before going to the back of the house to meet Executive Chef Barry Dakake. We hear he had to break six tackles from waiters and go over the top of a pile of sous chefs to get there.

I KNOW WHO KILLED THAT FIFTH OF GIN

Episode 1 of “Living Lohan” will feature Dina teach Ali to shoot tequila without training wheels.

Celebumom Dina Lohan and daughter Ali took in dinner at N9NE Steakhouse inside The Palms last night, enjoying filet mignon with a side of Grey Goose and cranberry.

The elder Lohan then switched scenes to the Playboy Club to dance before retiring to Moon. There she mixed it up, going to Ketel One and cranberry, before doing a round of sex on the beach shots with friends.

Let’s say you have a prominent daughter who’s been to rehab at age 21. Let’s say you’re filming a reality show in town with your younger daughter who has, as far as we know, not found the magnum of Cristal her older sister left hidden under the floorboards of the family homestead. Would you want to be spotted out in the clubs repeatedly? Oh, what the hell. We’d need a drink too after we’d had to hang around the set of Georgia Rule.

PORT HAS FABOLOUS DINNER AT N9NE

Whitney Port, Fabolous

The N9NE Group scored a few more notches in its celeb-sighting belt last night when The Hills star Whitney Port — in Las Vegas for MAGIC, of course — enjoyed N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms with seven friends. The group displayed concern for their figures with light meals — Port only had a salad and a shrimp cocktail for dinner.

Also in the house was rapper Fabolous, who had five Apple Martinis with dinner. He and his entoruage wandered up to Playboy Club after eating to cavort.

DOLPHIN JOEY PORTER KNOWS HIS WINES

Joey Porter

It’s tough being a Miami Dolphins linebacker. Just ask Joey Porter, who spent Super Bowl weekend partying in Las Vegas and then capped things off with dinner at N9NE Steakhouse inside the Palms with nine of his friends. Not only did he enjoy a half dozen oysters, N9NE’s signature Rock Shrimp, petit filet mignon and garlic mashed potatoes, but he and his pals also ordered a bottle of Joseph Phelps Insignia wine, 1994 vintage, for $3,000.

Oh wait, I guess it’s not tough being a Miami Dolphins linebacker. Our mistake.
