BRAVO STAR SWINGS BY TABU

Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing co-host Madison Hildebrand was at Tabu inside MGM Grand last night for the official 2010 GLBT Nightclub & Bar event along with friend Mervat Berry. Earlier in the day the real estate agent was was scoping out residential units at CityCenter. Hildebrand also posed for Playgirl, which puts him in the lofty company of Levi Johnston. Man, how many innocent dudes who just wanted to flash their dong for money are forever going to be lumped in with the guy who had questionable enough taste to hook up with Sarah Palin’s daughter while also lacking the sense to pull out?

Meanwhile, over at N9NE Steakhouse, Joe Montana had dinner with five others. The good thing about having Montana in for dinner if you’re Chef Barry Dakake is you can ask him if he likes his steak, and you know you’ll get a completely sincere answer. And that answer? He’ll be in his room masturbating.

SKRIBBLE TURNS FREAKS LOOSE

FSSkribble
Completely prepared in case pirates and/or Tim Burton invade Studio 54. (Photos by Isaac Brekken)

After closing Freaks suddenly in December, the Swingshift Sidewhow was left without a home on the Strip (though still doing performances in the finest dive bars the city has to offer). They made their return to Las Vegas Boulevard Saturday night for the start of DJ Skribble’s residency, the appropriately named Freak Show, at Studio 54 inside MGM Grand.

Skribble’s mash-up offers a different aural backdrop for the Sideshow, which just last week was apologizing for its use of Annie Lennox. At the very least, you expect creepy circus music in an abandoned amusement park, but sometimes, you just have to settle for a prominent, established, glitzy nightclub instead.

SKRIBBLE BRINGING THE FREAKS OUT

Skribble
All we’re hoping for is at least one bearded lady. (Photo courtesy DJ Skribble)

From a stint on MTV’s The Grind and Spring Break to radio, studio work and life on the road as a touring DJ, Long Island’s DJ Skribble is carving out a home for himself in the circus.

Well, Studio 54’s version of the circus, anyway.

Joining the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Z-Trip as jocks with a show, DJ Skribble’s Freak Show starts Saturday night at the MGM Grand club. In between weekend gigs in town, Skribble will still be out on the road — and finding the time to tutor a precocious DJ Pauly D in the ways of the celebrity DJ lifestyle. MMA DOES FASHION

Tapout
Bold move, going for the Hillary Banks hair. (Photos by Vic Bonadonna)

The Tapout MAGIC party was at Studio 54 inside MGM grand last night, with Chuck Liddell Dan Henderson, Jake Shields, Punkass, SkySkrape, and Scott Epstein. Really, Punkass and SkySkrape? We’re doing that now? Can’t we just relicense Junkyard Dog and Ultimate Warrior for use in UFC? Wouldn’t that get you 100 times more excited about mixed martial arts if you knew you could tune in for a new “… the Giant?” Like maybe Steve the Giant? No? Well, it doesn’t have the same ring, we suppose.

VON TEESE RETURNING TO CRAZY HORSE

Dita
So we’re more or less finding excuses to post pictures of pin-up girls. You got a problem with that?

Burlesque maven Dita Von Teese is making her return to Crazy Horse Paris for a week-long engagement, March 31 to April 7. Coincidentally, that week will also mark an influx of Peter Lorre and Humphrey Bogart impersonators flocking to town to hang out around the MGM Grand.

When Von Teese was a guest star in the show early last year, they shot a DVD of the performance. Already out in parts of Europe, the DVD will make its Stateside debut this spring.

She’ll be doing “Lazy,” “Le Bain Noir” and “Teese’ing” with the Crazy Horse girls, the latter her take on the show’s “Teasing” and “Bain” a take on the bathtub show she did here in 2007. Tickets go on sale Saturday and are $75, plus two Dita Von Teese Packages will offer a private backstage meet and greet. We’re assuming it’s not that kind of meet and greet. Or else we’re going to get our credit card warmed up.

GRAHAM CELEBRATES B’DAY IN KA

Graham
(Photos by Denise Truscello)

Heather Graham was never hotter than she was in Swingers, but she looked damn good in The Hangover. Yeah, even better than Rollergirl. Except for that one scene where she rollerstomps that one dude while Burt Reynolds watches. But that’s a given.

Graham returned to the scene of the Hangover crime to celebrate her birthday Friday for a secret trip organized by boyfriend Yaniv Raz. They checked in at a Mirage Villa and did dinner at Japonais before heading over to MGM Grand where Raz had one last surprise prepared — on-stage training with the cast of Ka.

Graham kicked it off with pilates to warm up before she moved over to the theater to strap into a harness and attack the 50-foot wall of Ka’s battle scene along with performers Emma Nicholson and Jason Blitz. She practiced running, jumping and sliding down the wall (despite a little acrophobia) for about an hour. It was only slightly less exhausting than sitting through a showing of Bowfinger.

EGGERT’S LAST CAKE HURRAH

NicEgg
Tom Felton is in this pic. He just nicked Daniel Radcliffe’s Invisibility Cloak. /nerdjoke’d. (Photos by Erik Kabik | Retna)

This is how you do it. Right before she has to go get yelled at about running and baby carrots and whatever, former Baywatch girl Nicole Eggert celebrated her 38th birthday and the end of her pre-Celebrity Fit Club freedom with a big-ass cake at Tabu inside MGM Grand Saturday night. It’s like celebrating your last night before going into prison by not getting raped.

The cake was supposedly low calorie, but look at that thing. It’s like someone stole it from the Wonka Factory. Also turning up for the party was Tom Felton — Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter movies — because, well, why not Draco Malfoy? Alan Rickman had a thing to do that night and Emma Watson had a dentist appointment early the next morning.

0130SAT: THE ROUNDUP

Eggert
Corey Haim used to be all over that every night. No wonder he’s trying to make a comeback.

Nicole Eggert celebrates the end of her freedom tonight at Tabu inside MGM Grand before she goes on Celebrity Fit Club. In holding with the grand tradition of everyone who was ever on Baywatch having to hook up with a musician of questionable nature, Eggert was the one attached to House of Pain and Limp Bizkit’s DJ Lethal. She sued him for burning her with cigarettes a couple years ago. She still got off better than Pam Anderson. Click for more words and pictures »

VAMPIRE IS FINALLY LEGAL

Dobrev
Cake, the most undead of desserts. (Photos by Erik Kabik | Retna)

True Blood. Twilight. Larry King Live Vampires have become to television and film in 2009 what the Amazing Charleston-ing Mummy was to 1924 dance halls. Ubiquitous, seemingly out of nowhere, and adored by preteen girls.

The CW is, of course, in on the act with their Vampire Diaries, where the vamps in question are more brooding than haunted. Or maybe it’s more haunting than brooded. We don’t know. It’s tough to keep track. Either way, Nina Dobrev from the show celebrated her 21st birthday Saturday night at MGM’s Studio 54 along with several co-stars.

Along with Dobrev were Kayla Ewell, Zach Roerig, Sara Canning, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola and Steven R. McQueen, whose grandfather would probably run him over in a Mustang if he knew the name Steve McQueen were being used to peddle girl-friendly sensitive vampires instead of, say, a heartless car-redlining, crook-shooting, cop machine. Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder of the show ducked past the red carpet cameras to join the group inside briefly, before ducking out with newcomer Matt Davis to go play blackjack.

Fellow CW stars Matt Lanter (90210), Sara Paxton, Nico Tortorella and Benjamin Hollingsworth (The Beautiful Life) were also there, being a bunch of smartasses and singing “Chapel of Love” at real-life couple Paxton and Tortorella. Then fellow smartass Canning told Dobrev she should wish for a boyfriend before blowing out the candles on her birthday cake. Because hot 21-year-olds with television shows have a hard time meeting people. We bet she’ll tell you she was really a huge geek and totally shy in high school, too.

OLDMAN AND HIS OLD MOM

Oldman
This is still less weird than the people Keanu would bring to the set of Dracula. (Photo by Michael Morales | Cashman Photo)

Gary Oldman, aka Sid Vicious, aka Commissioner Gordon, aka the only remotely watchable part of The Contender brought his mother, Kathleen, to see Ka at MGM Grand Friday night for her 90th birthday.

After the show, Oldman and his wife, Alexandra, wanted to know how the choreograph a show like that. With all his Harry Potter experience, Oldman should have known that the answer was clearly, “wizardry.” And such, he should’ve threatened to burn the witches and warlocks responsible at the stake. It’s the only way to be sure. Country singer/comic Rodney Carrington was also at the show. We’re not saying Gary Oldman should have set Carrington on fire too, as a precautionary measure, but, you know. Witnesses.
