Even though they’re still trying to wash out the taint of Ron Jeremy from his appearance last week, McFadden’s — the new Irish pub inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino — is moving forward with plans for a three-day bash celebrating its grand opening next weekend.

The festivities begin on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 8 p.m., with a full open bar for the public from 9 to 10 p.m. The next evening, Area 107.9-FM and SpyOnVegas.com present Open Bar from 6 to 9 p.m., featuring free Guinness and Miller beer. And finally, on Saturday, Entourage’s Kevin Dillon hosts the finals of a beauty competition that starts at 8 p.m., with $1000 cash going home with the winner. And probably a kiss from Dillon. Much better than a kiss from Ron Jeremy.

As promised, adult film legend Ron Jeremy turned out to celebrate the opening of McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon at the Rio on Wednesday night. He was joined by adult film actress Jessica Bush (whew, at least there was one camera-friendly porn star in the place!) for photos before going into full-on silly mode, grabbing the DJ’s microphone to tell a few jokes before mounting the Irish pub’s bar to pour shots of McFadden’s signature Bobo cocktail into customers’ mouths.

What better way to bring some attention to your new Irish pub than to host an after-party for the AVN Expo? McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon, which opened this week inside the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino, will be the setting for a bash hosted by none other than Ron Jeremy on Wednesday, Jan. 9 from 10 p.m. to midnight.

In addition to getting close to “The Hedgehog,” guests can also enjoy a full open bar from 9 to 10 p.m. and $3 beers until midnight. Let’s see if the new pub can live up to its self-appointed “Wildest Irish Pub on Earth” title. Just watch for those air-whipped potatoes … who knows where Jeremy’s famous appendage will end up!
