HAVING A KILLER TIME WITH EDITORS

Editors, Hot Hot Heat
Is it just us, or does Hot Hot Heat’s Steve Bays look eerily like freaky comic Carrot Top? (Photos by Scott Harrison)

It’s been quite a week for The Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci, who spent Wednesday night partying it up with Juliette Lewis and crew at The Mirage, and last night was spotted at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay, where he and Killers bassist Mark Stoermer and multi-instrumentalist Ted Sablay enjoyed an indie rock concert that packaged Editors, Hot Hot Heat and Louis XIV on one bill.

Talking to Vannucci in the will call line, he joked that he was “exhausted” from his cavorting about Las Vegas. The homegrown rock stars were likely present to support Louis XIV, who have shared the stage with The Killers on multiple tours. All three bands played energetic sets to a half-full, yet enthusiastic, House of Blues crowd.

LEWIS, VANNUCCI GET THEIR LOVE ON

Juliette Lewis, Ronnie Vannucci

It was a rocking night at The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage last night as singer-actress Juliette Lewis and Killers drummer and homeboy Ronnie Vannucci, along with a group of friends, attended the 7 p.m. performance of the show.

Per usual, the celebs in attendance got a backstage tour, but these musically inclined types spent extra time in the Monitor Room, in which a replica of the legendary Abbey Road studio is located.
