Now if only they’d hold an open casting call for Goodburger.
BLT Burger, part of the Bistro Laurent Tourondel empire of restaurants, is opening its first outpost outside of New York City this summer at The Mirage, and it’s holding open interviews today through Friday.
The restaurant is taking applications for manager, assistant manager, server, busperson, food runner, bartender, bar apprentice, host/hostess, fountain worker, assistant chef, line cook, pastry cook and prep cook. We were hoping to get a shot as the head condiment wrangler, but our skills with mustard are weak.
Interviews run from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. in Antigua Room A.

All this could be yours. To market.
Director of Marketing Rosine Frangie is leaving Blush at Wynn Las Vegas (and Nevada altogether) this summer. That’s where you come in, if you have what it takes to craft slick nightlife events. See? Your mother always told you all those nights hanging around the clubs would never pay off, but now’s your chance to totally prove her wrong. It’s just like that time she said you weren’t responsible enough to take care of a puppy, but you took Patches for a walk every day, didn’t you? I mean, at least until Patches chewed up the couch and your dad took him to go live upstate where he could play with all the other dogs, but you know Patches is happier that way, right? RIGHT?
Candidates can send their applications to rosine@lasvegasnightgroup.com.

Get it? Scissors? Shear? Get it? Huh? Get it?
Town Square Las Vegas will be home to productions of the play Shear Madness for seven years starting with a projected opening date in September. The whodunnit relies on audience participation and improv to keep things fresh, and will run at 7 p.m. nightly Tuesday through Sunday with 4 p.m. matinees on the weekends. The show has been running since 1980 in Boston and has been performed in 37 U.S. cities and 36 international locations, which just goes to prove that worldwide, people adore scissor puns.

Are you bald? Between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-1? Love to bang on things and act up a storm? Then mark your calendars for April 7, because that’s when Blue Man Group is holding an open casting call for aspiring Blue Men at the Venetian from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To think, I just missed the requirements by half an inch! No blue paint in my future unless Smurfs on Ice holds auditions in Las Vegas sometime soon.
A Blue Man is, of course, androgynous and egoless, so male or female potentials are encouraged to apply. And if you’re a musician who doesn’t quite fit the physical prerequisites, your talents might be put to use as a member of the Blue Man Group band, about which more information can be found by clicking here.

Remember a month ago when we told you that, for the first time in history, the MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris troupe was holding open auditions for its Parisian dance troupe? Well, if you were thinking of trying out, the stakes have just been raised: the modern queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese, will serve as a guest judge on the selection panel.
“The Crazy Horse in Paris has been the home to the world’s most sensual and elite showgirls since 1951,” said Von Teese, who became the first guest star in Crazy Horse history at the MGM last year. “I am so honored to be a part of choosing new talent for the show, and I am thrilled at the idea of an American girl having this chance to become one of the Crazy Horse stars, with her place in showgirl history.”
As previously noted, auditions will be held March 3 through 6 with winners announced during a special party at Tabú Ultra Lounge on March 6, hosted of course by Von Teese. The open casting call will be Monday, March 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dick Foster Productions (6260 Stevenson Way). Interested dancers can click here to e-mail for more information.

If you’re interested in becoming a cocktail server, bartender, bar back, cabana attendant, lifeguard or retail associate at Rehab or the Hard Rock Pool, bring your hottest swim wear on Saturday. Good luck, kids.
