Room 101 owner Matt Booth, Too Short and photo bomber.
Too Short banged out a quick five-song set at Ghostbar inside the Palms last night as part of a Room 101 MAGIC tie-in, then made his way to Moon where his crew inflated from seven to 17, drawing in Trech of Naughty by Nature.
We’re going to go ahead and guess that in the Good Hip-Hop vs. Wack Hip-Hop war, Trech ain’t on Soulja Boy’s side. Nonetheless, Soulja came into Moon, did his set — and left because he’s underage. The crowd included regulars Zab Judah and Computer of Adventures in Hollyhood.
Earlier, Bobby Brown had dinner at N9NE Steakhouse. No, he doesn’t keep all his meals to crack flambe.
Meanwhile, over at Yellowtail inside Bellagio, Justin Long — the Mac guy who plays opposite vastly underrated PC guy John Hodgman and former Drew Barrymore beau — had dinner with nary a lady in sight.
Finally, Christian Audigier, still in town for his When I Move, You Move, saw Cher at Caesar’s Palace. Expect next year’s line to involve sequined headgear.

Ghostbar at The Palms brings in MC Serch of 3rd Bass to host tonight — and, presumably, to deliver the Gas Face to, uh, suckas — while Too Short, Mae Day and Noelle perform as part of The Room 101 Conspiracy. The jewelry company specializes in silver and white guys with high-top fades. Click for more words and pictures »

Sebastian Bach and a group of seven kicked it at Ghostbar inside The Palms yesterday in advance of tonight’s show at The Pearl along with Dokken, Poison and Rob DeLuca. Sebastian Bach Fun Fact: He has a tattoo on his right arm that reads “Youth Gone Wild.” This is because he never played by the rules and he never really cared.
Also at The Palms last night was Bridget Marquardt who got to Moon around 2 a.m. with a group of four, expertly planning the details of hiding pirate booty.

Dyed hair AND the cheeseball beard. Well played, McLean. Well played. (Via AJMcLeanOnline.com)
Key cog in the Backstreet Boys choreography machine A.J. McLean was at Ghostbar inside The Palms last night with three friends for a little over an hour, staying clean and sober after six years. He was in town for the World Series of Poker. It does make us wonder why Celebrity Poker Showdown hasn’t done an all-boy-band edition yet, though. We’re pretty sure Color Me Badd is available.
ER actor and poker enthusiast Mekhi Phifer was in the next tower over, at Playboy Club following a Pokerstars.net party at Rain. Phifer arrived with DJ 88 and another friend before 11 p.m. DJ 88 left around 11:30, and Phifer hung out playing roulette until closing time.
Meanwhile, over at Planet Hollywood Casino, New York Giants legend, fan favorite and hellacious sackbeast Lawrence Taylor dined at Strip House. Jermaine Dupri was there as well, at a separate table.

All weekend, it was pasties as far as the eye could see. (Photo by Hew Burney | SpyOnVegas.com)
It was hard to see the stage through all the peacock feathers.
The girls, you see, spared no detail, and that included elaborate headwear. Ghostbar at The Palms, though not open to the public Friday night, was the place to be if you’re the kind of guy who likes to be surrounded by droves of girls dressed to the nines and dying to disrobe. Hundreds of girls in evening gowns, corsets, fishnets and long gloves packed into the lounge to hear stories from the legends of burlesque as part of the Burlesque Hall of Fame/Miss Exotic World 2008 weekend.
This was a crowd fascinated by its own history. As one former great after another climbed on stage, the shrieks and cheers could have been for Jagger in ‘72 as much as they were for 60-some-odd-year-old dancers. Click for more words and pictures »

There’s a 72 percent chance he knows a guy who knows a guy who can take care of that problem you’ve been having.
Chazz Palminteri was at Ghostbar inside The Palms last night, drinking Bailey’s on the rocks. Wait, really? Bailey’s? Shouldn’t the only two options available to Palminteri be Scotch or bourbon? Not even the good stuff, just bottom shelf, Cluny rotgut. At the very least, the sweetest thing he should be drinking is Sambuca, while a guy in a fedora named Paulie fingers a violin case and looks around nervously.
He was also at Moon Tuesday night for The Big Sleepover, but he didn’t dress as a superhero. Unless he was there as Mafioso Character Actor Man.

You can walk around with that kind of scratch showing when you’re Floyd Mayweather because, well, who’s going to mug you?
Prominent WWE wrestler Floyd Mayweather set himself up on stage at LAX inside Luxor last night, hanging out until the wee hours. Meanwhile, across the room, Atlanta Hawks center Zaza Pachulia snapped a few pictures with fans.
Over at Ghostbar inside The Palms, UFC fighter Jason “The Punisher” Lambert knocked back Long Island Ice Teas on the Skydeck. Sure, Lambert could be hanging around for UFC 84 this weekend, but we like to think he was here to arrange the first ever MMA/boxing/NBA rumble. He might not have the fight experience of his competitors, but we like Pachulia’s reach.

At least in the desert he doesn’t run much risk of boating incidents.
Well, if the reports of rehab are true, Dennis Rodman is wasting no time shaking off the effects. Rodman was eating dinner at N9NE Steakhouse last night the same way a businessman in the ’50s would eat a three-martini lunch.
Rodman, with a group of six friends and his oldest daughter, alternated Cape Cods, Patron Silver and Jagermeister. Hey, the cranberry juice in those Capes has a lot of sugar, and that’s more or less like food. Don’t judge. Rodman introduced his daughter to Executive Chef Barry Dakake, who gave her a bag of cookies to take up to her room. After tucking her in, Rodman was out at Ghostbar, drinking Jager and posing for pictures.
Meanwhile, Apprentice Season 1 winner Bill Rancic had a birthday dinner at N9NE with his wife, E! News anchor Giuliana DePandi Rancic, who drank a Peachy Lychee while her husband went with the Pomtini. We don’t think Trump would approve of that choice, and he’d probably give you a 20-minute dissertation on why not.

Would it be a weekend at the Palms without celebrity sightings, rock concerts and Patrón shots? Of course not. This past Friday night, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman took time off from f*cking, respectively, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon to join Dicky Barrett of ska-punk band The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and 10 or so friends for dinner at Nove Italiano in the hotel’s Fantasy Tower.
The Bosstones, of course, performed at the Pearl that evening, but Barrett has a more direct connection to comedian and late night talk show host Kimmel – the Bosstones front man is the announcer on Jimmy Kimmel Live, a gig he started when the band went on hiatus four years ago. Kimmel and Silverman – Hollywood’s comedy power couple – were also on hand to help the band film The Mighty Mighty Bosstones: Road to the Throwdown, a series of video blogs documenting the group’s return to the stage,
While Kimmel and crew enjoyed Nove’s Garden Terrace long past midnight, the rest of Barrett’s bandmates headed over to ghostbar at the Palms with about 20 people. The band enjoyed a VIP booth near the patio and indulged female admirers. Click for more words and pictures »

Maybe most of Hollywood’s attention was on the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles this weekend, where the 80th Academy Awards were held on Sunday night, but there was still plenty of action 280 miles to the northeast in Las Vegas, and as always, a good chunk was at the Palms Casino Resort.
Things kicked off in the House that Maloof Built on Friday night when Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had dinner at N9NE Steakhouse with a group of 10 men, including teammates and high rollers. The Super Bowl winning athlete, after declining a round of shots from a neighboring table, enjoyed calamari and oysters followed by a petit filet and vodka with Red Bull. After dinner, Roethlisberger and his crew moved the party to Moon nightclub, where they kicked it at a VIP table on the dance floor. Saturday night, Roethlisberger, along with four pals and two bodyguards, placed some serious bets at a reserved blackjack table – as much as $8,000.
Roethlisberger wasn’t the only NFLer at N9NE on Friday — Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer and his wife joined another couple to enjoy a tasting menu specially prepared by Chef Barry that included scallops, steak and a dessert platter, all accompanied by Champagne and a few bottles of red wine.
