He’s a Dapper Dan man.

George Clooney and director Jason Reitman — Juno director and son of Ivan — were mixing it up with fans last night at the Hard Rock Hotel last night where they had a private wrap party for filming on upcoming flick Up in the Air at Rare 120. And apparently, Clooney is not a fan of being filmed on the casino floor. The movie is an adaptation of a 2001 Walter Kim novel about a dude who flies around the country firing people. We’re going out on a limb and guessing Clooney plays it relaxed and charming. Jason Bateman is also slated to appear, where he’ll play a sassy pregnant teen faced with a hard decision about his future.

Slow your roll, eligible bachelorettes. Twin reports earlier today by People and InTouch Weekly said that George Clooney and former Whiskey and Moon cocktail waitress Sarah Larson have split. The timing would be awkward at best, with a profile on Larson having just been posted yesterday at Harper’s Bazaar.

The sticky wicket here is that the rumors may not be true according to a local source. We were told that there’s “no truth to that nonsense” and that the couple are still planning a trip to Italy together. According to the InTouch story a rep from Clooney’s camp said, “I can only confirm that we have never commented on George’s personal life.”

Don’t worry, though, eligible bachelorettes, we’re still here. We won’t even give you any static for being your second choice. We’ll let it slide, because we’re cool like that.

UPDATE: Looks like the breakup is the real deal after all, and was confirmed late last night. She’ll be back in town this weekend.

Where better to spend Valentine’s Day than at a show whose very name is LOVE? That’s what actor and director George Clooney and his girlfriend, Sarah Larson, did last night. The couple attended the 10 p.m. performance of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil at The Mirage, and then received the usual VIP backstage tour to meet the cast and crew of the show. Last year, Clooney attended the show with Ocean’s Thirteen co-star Ellen Barkin.

Prior to the show, Clooney and Larson joined N9NE Group’s Bronson Olimpieri and his girlfriend Brooke Mitchell for dinner at Nove Italiano in the Palms Fantasy Tower. The group enjoyed dishes selected for them by Executive Chef Geno Bernardo, and Win Director Christian Margesson chose such wines for the table as a ‘97 Sassicaia, ‘03 Solaia and ‘99 Bollinger.
