They have great scooter parking.
D.Vino at Monte Carlo is diving right into things after opening last week with SpyOnVegas.com’s Fude tomorrow night from 6 to 9 p.m. For $38 per person you get your choice of pasta: gnocchi or truffle-infused papparadelle in a mushroom ragout; crispy skin salmon in caper butter, boneless pork ribs in a balsamic glaze, or risotto di mare with shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari; and for dessert, lemon polenta cake or rosemary vanilla ice cream. That all comes with a Kai vodka open bar. Hit up your RSVP here.

We have never had pear and endive salad, but we would eat the crap out of pear and endive salad.
The one thing we love about the passing of summer (or would love if summer out here weren’t the oppressive test of a malicious god) is when menus start to get a little heavier, a little more robust. Fall dining (and fall cocktails) have a certain, as Rivers Cuomo would put it, raditude. (Just trying to help the man make it into an actual word. Nothing to see here.)
SpyOnVegas.com brings its Fude event to Border Grill at Mandalay Bay, where tomorrow night’s menu includes your choice of black mission fig quesadilla, Alaskan halibut ceviche or pear and endive salad to start; Oaxacan strip steak, cochinita pibl (Yucatan-style pork) or smoked chicken enchiladas for your main course; and Mexican chocolate cream pie, tres leches, pastel rufina, flourless chocolate truffle cake or flan for dessert.
It goes down for $35 per person, which includes cocktails from 6 to 9 p.m. Get on board with your RSVP here.

Just in time for Game 4 of the ALCS, SpyOnVegas.com presents Fude tonight at Lagasse’s Stadium inside Palazzo. They have somewhere in the neighborhood of a jillion screens so you can watch Joe Girardi overmanage from any angle in the house, while at the same time hunkering down for a two-for-$39 prix fixe dinner menu that includes Open Bar from 6 to 9 p.m.
On the menu for tonight: Choice of appetizer (cheesy beer and warm soft pretzels, Italian sausage arancini, stadium salad or crab, spinach and artichoke dip), two entrees (barbecue salmon, fish and chips, baked ziti, roasted chicken or baby back ribs), and a dessert (Kentucky Derby pie, New York-style cheesecake or double chocolate cupcake.) To get in, fire off your RSVP here.

It’s the kind of place where you can swirl a snifter of brandy and plot something evil.
Hendrick’s Gin and steak go together like a Saturday night trip to Pahrump and regret. You can get them paired perfectly together tonight at SpyOnVegas.com’s Fude at Envy Steakhouse inside the Renaissance Hotel, where for $39 you can get your appetizer (chop salad, black pepper calamari and rock shrimp or roasted tomato soup), entree (honey vermouth chicken, black angus filet or lemon and herb roasted salmon filet) and dessert (chocolate lava cake, lemon-lime mousse or pineapple and ginger upside-down cake) accompanied by the SpyOn Open Bar from 6 to 9 p.m. Go ahead and make your reservation, because you want to say you got in on the ground floor when we unleash our new vermouth chicken/Hendricks Martini on the world.

Take THAT, Spanish colonialists.
There’s a pretty good chance you thought you were celebrating Mexican Independence Day on Cinco de Mayo, but no matter how many Dos Equis you drank, it’s actually the celebration of the Battle of Pueblo. The real Mexican Independence Day is Sept. 16, but festivities always start the night of the 15th.
Just in time, SpyOnVegas.com brings back Fude to Dos Caminos at Palazzo that Tuesday with booze and three courses for $34.95 from 6 to 9 p.m. Your choices of appetizers include Mexican chopped salad or plantain empanadas; enchiladas, black angus skirt steak or ancho crusted tuna for your entree; and tres leches flan or crepas de cajeta for dessert. Go reserve yourself a spot here.

The SpyOnVegas.com Fude event makes its third foray into the world of fine dining on the cheap over at Ago inside the Hard Rock Hotel tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. Every time we go to that place we like to pretend we’re actually eating at Jake LaMotta’s joint in Raging Bull. It’s kind of fun until later that night when we have nightmares about being pummeled by Sugar Ray Robinson.
Anyway. For $35, you can choose two courses from the menu plus wine and dessert. To make your reservations, hit it up here.

You know what this place totally needs? Lobster machine.
The second installment of Fude from SpyOnVegas.com is Tuesday, and this time they’re hitting up RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay. It’s just in time to take a sneak peek at the new menu and the reopening of the restaurant’s upstairs.
It’s a prix fixe menu, which for Tuesday will feature an amuse boche of wild sockeye gravlax New York bagel style, a first course of red Alaskan king crab or chilled cioppino, a second course of olive oil poached halibut with braised pig’s tails or hand-made orchiette, a peach-and-basil third course of chilled soup, sorbet, amaretto and basil seeds and a fourth course The Cherry Experience. Which sounds like the most awesome contingency plan for an evil mastermind ever.
The whole thing is $45, and you can RSVP here.
