Say what you want about America, but at least our contributions to World AIDS Day aren’t nearly as creepy as South Korea’s. Instead really enthusiastic condoms, we have restaurants kicking back a portion of proceeds to AID for AIDS of Nevada.

Claim Jumper, California Pizza Kitchen, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza and Blue Martini at Town Square are all joining in, which means you can do your holiday shopping, lunch and charitable contributions in one fell swoop.

Miss out on today’s activities and you can double back tomorrow at the Holiday Mingle & Jingle from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fashion Show Mall. It features holiday fashion shows, cocktails and appetizers for $20, benefiting AFAN.

And who doesn’t love to mix a little charity in with cocktails and a chance to swipe some gratis khakis. To get in on the action fire off your RSVP here.

Heidi Klum brought co-hosts Peyman Amin and Rolf Scheider to the Fashion Show Mall on Saturday to tape Germany’s Next Top Model, which is exactly like America’s Next Top Model but with 40 percent more Kraftwerk. It’s a good thing they waited until after reunification to do this show, because we’re pretty sure no one would want to watch East Germany’s Next Top Model.
