Finally, someone found a way to draw a direct line from Jay-Z to Emeril Lagasse (They got 99 problems, but a kitch … (en) ain’t one). In the spot once occupied by the 40/40 Club, and currently is home to the ever-so-slightly-on-the-nose-named Sportsbook Bar & Grill, Lagasse is going to take over with Lagasse’s Stadium.

To make it a little more Emeril-y, the staff was goign to yell “Bam!” every time a someone took a pitcher deep, but that was scrapped when they realized the Nationals have like 60 games left to play.

Lagasse has two other restaurants on-site, Table 10 on the top floor of Palazzo and Delmonico at The Venetian. Unfortunately, the Stadium is still going to have to deal with being on the lightly-trafficked bottom floor of Palazzo that hasn’t exactly been kind to Dal Toro’s ultralounge concept or 40/40 before it. We’ll find out in the fall once the Stadium opens.
