Downtown’s Down and Derby is Fremont-bound no more. The retro roller skating party steps up to the Palms starting Dec. 17 when it takes over Rain for a Thursday-night tilt. DJ OB-One and DJ $HR3D will remain in control of the turntables. Skate rentals stay at a ’70s-friendly $5 while entrance is $5 ahead of time and $10 at the door.
