Carmen Electra has been the source of pregnancy speculation for years, and her birthday party at Wet Republic was no different, with the Internet convinced she’s about to pop out a kid because she wore a sundress at the party instead of a bikini. That’s like saying Bea Arthur is hiding her pregnancy behind that big boxy coffin.

Electra was at the pool with fiance Rob Patterson, rocking a Far Beyond Driven Pantera shirt. Come on, Rob. Go Southern Trendkill if all you’re trying to do is stay away from Vulgar Display of Power. Patterson did some time on the turntables while Electra was in her bungalow with a group of girls that included Rock of Love’s Mercia.

Electra also got a video montage of birthday greetings from the likes of Perez Hilton and Kim Kardashian. Just what she wanted for her birthday — a reminder that she starred in Disaster Movie.

Carmen Electra, cover model for Playboy’s 55th anniversary issue, was at the Playboy Club inside the Palms Saturday night to put on the bunny costume and deal a little blackjack after a day of dealer training and certification with the Nevada Gaming Commission on Friday. That’s much, much more preparation than she needed for Disaster Movie.

Electra came in with George Maloof just before 10 p.m., and dealt cards for around an hour. After she was done, she was joined by Dasha Astafieva, who’s Miss January in the new issue. Electra stayed until midnight. She drank Sex on the Beach, while Astafieva went with Baileys.

Also at Playboy was former Bears defensive end Richard Dent, who played blackjack at Electra’s table for her entire turn. UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer was also there.

Carmen Electra is sitting in as a guest Bunny dealer Saturday night at the Playboy Club inside the Palms. Electra is the cover model on the magazine’s 55th anniversary issue. The magazine hits stands in January. To mark the occasion, Electra plans to indulge in her favorite hobby, marrying a tattooed freak. Steve-O, your publicist will be putting a call through shortly.

Carmen Electra did her Halloween turn at Rok Vegas inside New York-New York, going as a cigarette girl who had a tray full of candy instead of smokes. We’re pretty sure a pack of Parliaments would’ve made more people’s Halloween than a fun-size Milky Way, but whatever. As Candy Girls go, she couldn’t hold a candle to Selma Hayek’s turn in Dogma.

Fiance Rob Patterson, formerly of Korn, was along to do a DJ set with a little guitar work thrown in there. Sure, but did he play any New Edition?

Carmen Electra spent Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel to promote the release of Meet the Spartans on DVD, the little film that managed to insult the intelligence of even the people who looked forward to Date Movie. She was joined by co-star Method Man as they listened to a performance from P.O.D. We assume the ghost of ODB has been haunting Method for taking a paycheck for a film that prompted an outpouring of critical bile that Max Bialystock could only have dreamed of.

Later in the evening, Electra went over to Smashtime at Body English where Roger Taylor of Duran Duran spun a surprise set on the turntables as bandmates Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes hung out, along with The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning.

Jet at Mirage comes correct with a sextet of girls of reality television, featuring Ice and Prancer from Flavor of Love; Leticia and Jillian from Beauty and the Geek; and Aussie Rachael and Blonde Rachel from America’s Most Smartest Model. If you’re lucky, Ben Stein will show up, too, and explain to you what you can do with your dry, irritated eyes.

Jonathon Schaech, Jana Kramer and Scott Porter of critic’s darling Prom Night will be on hand at Tao inside The Venetian. What more does one need in the winter than a beach party? OK, so it’s not on a real beach, but Malibu rum is turning Polly Esther’s at the Stratosphere into a Caribbean-themed paradise on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 9 p.m. and the temperature will surely warm up when the host of the evening — Carmen Electra — arrives.

If the complimentary Malibu cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and Carmen Electra were not enough, “Kid Millionaire” Steve Aoki will be working the turntables, ensuring this event is, as the kids say, off the hook.

Speaking of hooks, it’s an invite-only event, folks, but if you click here to RSVP, maybe you’ll be one of the few. The proud. The rum-soaked.

Aside from a quick trip to greet the rubes on the dance floor, Carmen Electra spent most of the Friday night party celebrating the release of her new Aerobic Striptease: Vegas Strip DVD with her closest pals in the lower VIP area of Studio 54 inside the MGM Grand, munching on lamb, tuna tartar and Kobe beef (seriously, what is up with the Kobe beef??). Apparently, Electra was spotted later in the night making time with some mysterious dude in a Swarovski crystal-adorned Yankees baseball cap. There’s no accounting for tastes.

Our major complaint: That’s a pretty violet dress, but anything that covers up that much of Electra needs to go.
