Blake Lewis, Season 6′s runner-up on American Idol was at Tao inside The Venetian last night to celebrate the release of his Heartbreak on Vinyl. He jumped up on stage around 1 a.m. to do a little beatboxing and freestyling before launching into “Binary Love.” (We just hope Kraftwerk is getting royalties.)

Porn star Stormy Daniels was in the crowd, drinking Champagne with a large group. Allison Janney was there for dinner, as part of her ongoing 50th birthday celebration.

Once we get a Idol contestant who breakdances, the circle will be complete.

It’s a good couple of months to be American Idol runners-up with an inclination for ’80s nostalgia. Adam Lambert officially releases what we can only assume from the cover is his tribute album to Dead or Alive lead singer Pete Burns (or perhaps his tribute to soft lighting — either way) next week. But tonight Season 6 runner-up Blake Lewis celebrates the release of his Heartbreak on Vinyl at Tao inside The Venetian for Worship Thursday. Lewis, you’ll remember, got famous for beatboxing on Idol. Which more or less puts him on par with The Fat Boys. Which hopefully means he’s writing a script for Disorderlies 2.
