It’s like a stress test for everyone’s mixing boards.
Time to break out that Franklin Covey organizer you’ve been holding on to since the early 2000s as Hakkasan announces its opening festivities—a veritable date soup that even the most type-A planner will have a hard time wrapping their head around.
The debut of Hakkasan Nightclub will take place over not one, but three weekends starting April 18—billed as Preview Weekend—and culminating the weekend of May 2—Fight Weekend, when Floyd Mayweather, Jr. takes on Robert Guerrero at the Grand Garden Arena on May 4. Sandwiched in between is Grand Opening Weekend, with a lineup that includes most of their top talent (read: no Tiësto).
Deadmau5 will be the first to perform inside the main room as its doors open April 18, followed by Hardwell, Bingo Players and Tommy Trash (April 19-21).
The main event starts on April 25 with Steve Aoki and Deadmau5 returns April 26. On April 27 Calvin Harris hosts the GQ Magazine-sponsored official opening and it all winds down April 28 with Laidback Luke.
Tiësto finally makes an appearance May 3 and May 5, bookended by R3hab on May 2 and another performance by Calvin Harris on May 4.
And if all this talk of Hakkasan has made you hungry for their duck salad, don’t forget the restaurant, which opens May 3 but starts taking reservations April 10. As for the nightclub, Tickets go on sale March 29 at 10 a.m. on Hakkasanlv.com. The nightclub will open at 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
