Look, we know DeNiro was in Ronin, but this is taking it a bit far. (Photos by Erik Kabik)

The House that Shushi Built, Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace, had its official ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday–with a samurai sword. It’s about time someone got swords more involved in day-to-day activities around here. We didn’t want to think we were the only ones cutting the tags off new clothes or opening bags of chips with one.

Chef Noby Matsuhisa was joined by Robert De Niro for the ribbon cutting, and they were joined by Gordon Ramsay and De Niro’s wife, Grace. Either that or this was an elaborately filmed sequel to Heat where it turns out McCauley actually survived being shot, then used the money from the heist to bankroll a lucrative career as a casino executive.
