There has been a fair bit of speculation about DJ migrations next year as Hakkasan at the MGM and Light at Mandaly Bay come online. The official announcement was set for the Grammy Awards, where two of Hakkasan’s new residents are in talks to perform — but where’s the fun in waiting until February?

First off, Angel Management Group is preparing to spend some serious coin to lure the likes of Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki from the posh confines of the Wynn and Encore. Deadmau5 alone is pulling in $425,000 per show, but he has struck a deal to do two shows a day for a staggering $850,000 His two-year deal includes 40 shows and totals an astounding $35 million dollars. Though he will always play Hakkasan, his second show will be held at Wet Republic during the summer and at the Grand Garden Arena the rest of the year. That’s right, MGM and AMG are looking to launch an EDM concert series at the Garden, the likes of Tiesto’s series at The Joint. While Deadmau5 might be banking the most, don’t worry too much about their other future residents who have similarly structured deals – Tiesto is reportedly getting a cool $250,000 per gig. Hardwell is also reportedly close to inking a deal to join Team H.

Over at Mandalay Bay, Swedish House Mafia’s manager Amy Thomson is partnering with the Light Group as their talent buyer. Light should certainly be counting their blessings for that as Thomson has helped them secure the likes of Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Alesso and Nicky Romero. Though they will play the forthcoming and already announced Light Nightclub, look for them to also hit the decks at the yet unannounced Delano Beach Club, which will likely be a collaboration with Ibiza’s famed Ushuaia Beach Club.

Though the Wynn and Encore has bid adieu to some of their talent, they are set to announce an impressive list of 40-plus artists after the first of the year. Look for the likes of Avicii, Steve Angello, Guetta, Afrojack and Skrillex to stay put at XS, Tryst and Surrender, while they garner some interesting new blood – did someone say French prodigy Madeon, Eric Prydz and Knife Party?

Finally, Marquee will definitely also be hanging onto Kaskade and again share Avicii with Wynn. We also hear they are close to inking a deal with Krewella.
