The Ex-Mr. Kelis, Nas, was at Tao Friday night to celebrate new album Life is Good. After dinner, he burned through “Hate Me Now,” “It Ain’t Hard To Tell,” “If I Ruled The World” and “Made You Look.” Sadly, no “The World is Yours.” But he did tell the club, “I want to thank TAO for bringing me out tonight. I needed it. We all need Vegas.” Which should really replace “What Happens Here, Stays Here.”
Over at Marquee, Sean Avery hosted GLAAD’s Spirit Day party in the Boom Box Room. The club’s charitable arm, Marquee Cares, donated the dough from ticket sales and some of the proceeds from table sales to GLAAD and Flip the Script to help fight bullying. Miss Nevada 2012 Randi Sundquist was also there, tiara and sash in hand.
