Terry Fator debuted his new puppet, Berry Fabulous (:sigh:) on Lopez Tonight last night. He already was taking pages out of the Jeff Dunham’s Vaguely Racist Puppet Hour playbook with the Satchmo-meets-’40s-Looney-Tunes-black-dude-tropes “soul singer” Julius. Now he has a hip-hop-meets-show-tunes puppet to dial up the swish.

Officially, it’s described thus:

He’s a flamboyant man who believes that his childhood idols Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand and Cher lend themselves quite well to the world of rap. He considers himself the hip-hop Liberace. Just don’t expect to hear any Johnny Cash.

Get it? Because the gays like Judy Garland! Oh, this stuff just writes itself.
