It just looks so … awardy.

You’re just not going to get through any kind of chef awards without Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand being involved. The 2010 James Beard Foundation Awards were handed out, with Robuchon’s Claude Le Tohic taking Best Chef: Southwest. Le Tohic was a runner-up to Paul Bartolotta last year in the category. Also in the running for awards this year were: Rick Moonen for Best Chef: Southwest and Best Television Show on Location for his Chefs A’ Field: King of Alaska, which aired on PBS. Joel Robuchon was also in the running for , for the Outstanding Service Award and their Kamel Guechida as Outstanding Pastry Chef. Saipin Chutima of Lotus of Siam also was a contender for the Southwest award.
