Last year, Tryst and XS managing partners Cy and Jesse Waits and about 100 employees netted $32,000 worth of toys for the annual KLUC toy drive, the largest single donation in the history of the drive — now they’re looking to top it.

The toy drive — this time with 200 employees expected — will be back at the South Rainbow Boulevard Wal-Mart at 10 a.m. before they leave with a police escort to deliver the haul to the Nevada Power parking area.

“All we want to do is make a difference in the lives of the children in Las Vegas during this time of year,” Jesse Waits said. “Giving back to the community is something we take seriously and our Tryst/XS family will continue to support the KLUC toy drive and other philanthropic organizations for years to come.”

“Our participation in the toy drive isn’t about us,” Cy Waits, said. “We just want to make a true, positive impact on these Las Vegas families and children in need. We just want to make a difference.”
