Morrissey had a go at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel Friday night, marking like the 958th Moz concert we’ve had to miss for one reason or another. But, you know, everyone else we talked to or overheard who went to the show couldn’t stop raving about it. So that was … great. Swear to God if by some miracle Johnny Marr ever agrees to a Smiths reunion, there will be some kind of explosion/alien invasion/Biblical end-of-the-world event that will stop us from getting to the theater.

Anyway, Moz, from under the watchful eye of Italian actor Walter Chiari, kicked out a set supporting new B-sides compilation Swords, and ended the evening, naturally, with How Soon is Now?
