Wtih two road wins over Arizona and Santa Clara, UNLV men’s basketball remains unbeaten at 7-0 and has jumped from 24 and 21 in the AP and ESPN/USA Today polls to 18 and 17, respectively. This week the Rebels host Kansas State on Dec. 12 at the Orleans Arena and travel to Southern Utah Dec. 15. They still trail unranked New Mexico in the Mountain West (8-0), but have to wait a couple weeks for their Jan. 9 tilt against the Lobos. This will be a more difficult game than their match against the Lisa Loeb-os, whom they beat 187-6, although the felt sad listening to the Loeb-os halftime music.
