Moz with a baby oh no, oh no, it’s serious.

Morrissey’s newest album is called Swords, yet he doesn’t take the opportunity to shoot an album cover posing with a sword. Neko Case, meanwhile, is not only holding a sword on the cover of Middle Cyclone, but she’s riding a ’68 Cougar. And she’s hot.

We have no idea what this has to do with anything (except how much it makes us want to buy the new Neko Case record), but the former Smiths frontman makes with the wordsmithy Friday night at 9 p.m. at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel along with Doll and The Kicks. Now if we can get him to start waving around an actual sword on stage, we just might have the Las Vegas concert event of the year.
