Moon at the Palms is breaking out its resident DJs to get going a little early on the Thanksgiving celebrations. Tonight, Z-Trip does Thanks-Spinning while Paul Oakenfold comes back tomorrow night with N9NE Group’s Michael Fuller and DJ Jordan Stevens for Trancegiving. Bring the customary non-perishable food item for a free drink, which benefits Three Square. The food item, not the cocktail. Although at this point in the year there are probably some people over at Three Square who deserve a stiff drink. Just, you know, buy it for them later. The Rob Roy won’t balance too well in the donation box.

• Bunkhouse (124 S. 11th St.) has the open blues jam sessions.
• The Beauty Bar brings in Surfer Blood and A Crowd of Small Adventurers.
