Lunch trays: Not just for catching floating gobs of thin gravy and tiny shreds of turkey in what someone optimistically calls a hot turkey sandwich anymore.

The Arts Factory tonight hosts Lunch Trays for Home Days, an art auction with proceeds going to The Back Pack Program from 7 to 10 p.m. DJ 88 spins during the lunch tray art exhibit, where 50 or so local artists designed and painted trays. Which makes them infinitely appealing to what they look like on sloppy joe day. The Backpack Program is a partnership between the Clark County School District and Three Square provides to provide a bag of kid-friendly eats to children who don’t have adequate food over the weekend.
