SKATING NOT A CRIME, IS CHARITY EVENT

We would pay TWENTY U.S. DOLLARS to see them play tennis on skateboards. (Photos by Hew Burney)
Tony Hawk turned the Wynn gnarly on Saturday. Gnar-ly, is that how you say that? It’s what we picked up from Gleaming the Cube, anyway. Stand up for Skateparks included a ramp, food, auctions, demo of Tony Hawk: Ride the video game and a show by Rancid to benefit the creation of public skateparks in low-income communities.
It drew Holly Madison, Chuck Liddell, Andre Agassi and Erik Estrada, because he has to be involved in all activities that concern irregular transportation. You should see him work the hovercraft charity circuit.
Estrada was at The Pearl Friday night for Road to Redemption, and then after the event on Saturday he hit up the wrap party at Blush along with Hawk, BMX pros Matt Hoffman and Simon Tabron and skateboarder Kevin Staab. Also at Blush was Steven Jackson of the Rams and Twitter co-founder Biz Stone.
