LAST ROUNDUP ON THE LEFT

Halloween09

Halloween is on a Saturday this year, which is awesome because it takes the guesswork out of when it lands on a Tuesday and you never know if your friends are going out the Saturday before, the Friday after or what. Then again, that’s not stopping anyone from planning Halloween activities from tonight all the way through Sunday.

It’s a good year to be a fan of vampires and zombies, it looks like, with Tao and Lavo bringing in Twilight’s Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz at and True Blood’s Rutina Wesley and Sam Trammell; plus several zombie-themed parties going down.

As usual, it’s not a good year to be a fan of the mummy. Man, we feel bad for the mummy. It’s even better to be Corey Haim or Vanilla Ice than the mummy — they’re each hosting their own parties. Always the bridesmaid, never the dessicated, curse-wielding, wrapped-in-bandages bride. Anyway, keep going to plan your activities, and try to maximize your costume contest winnings. You know, with your Sexy RoboCop outfit.
