Yes, there will be a porn star taking shots to the face. Just not, you know, like you’re used to.

Josh Richmond from SiriusXM is going to box porn star Joanna Angel as part of the EllisMania at the Hard Rock Hotel this weekend, where extreme sports star Jason Ellis of satellite radio’s “The Jason Ellis Show” is putting on a weekend of concerts, radio recordings and, in the indomitable spirit of Chuck Wepner fighting Andre the Giant, ridiculous boxing.

Fans will fight fans in one-armed and shock collar matches, while Ellis himself will fight former Oasis bassist Andy Bell. And really, who can argue with someone from Oasis catching a beating?

Tonight it starts off with Angel’s party at Wasted Space at 10 p.m. with the Sin City Sinners. Noon to 4 p.m. the show is back at the club to broadcast their radio show, and then there’s a 10 p.m. Everlast performance at Wasted Space. Which is the most on-the-nose pairing of performer and sport we’ve ever heard, until someone starts up Nike Air Jordans the Band to play the opening ceremonies of the NBA Championships.

On Saturday, the show broadcasts from 10 a.m. to noon at Wasted Space. Ellis and Carey Hart do a meet-and-greet at Hart and Huntington Tattoo at 1:30 p.m., followed by the fights at 7 p.m. in Muse Hall. Ellis’ band Taintstick, featuring Benji Madden on bass, wrap it up with a 10 p.m. record release party.

Sunday starts with an 11 a.m. Pink Taco brunch. The show broadcasts there from noon to 2 p.m. and a 10 p.m. Swollen Members and Big B show at Wasted Space draws the curtain on the festival.
