Fresh off reminding you that yeah, Onyx really did have a hit in the mid-’90s, on the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz were on the mic at Body English inside the Hard Rock Hotel Saturday night. When Tracy Morgan introduced them on the show he made it sound like a band of the hardest, most evil dudes in the world were about to come out on stage. Like a bunch of ninjas who are also Navy SEALS that eat murder for brunch. Then it was just Onyx. Hey, we like “Slam” too, but, there aren’t mothers telling their children if they don’t stop that ruckus and go to sleep Onyx will come out of the closet and eat them. Although that’s not a terrible idea.

Dallas receiver Miles Austin was there for the show doing what NFL players always do on the bye week. Run as fast as possible to the clubs to get the hell away from two-a-days.
