If she has all these adventures, where’s her fedora and bullwhip?

If you tried to start the Internet and it was turning over like a ’78 Datsun, the reason traffic might be a little heavier of late is BlogWorld Expo, going on at the Las Vegas Convention Center this weekend. (Ironically, we’re here blogging and can’t get over to BlogWorld Expo.)

In the social media frenzy, dozens of Tweet Ups have been planned during the convention. One of Twitter’s 1.2 million follower starts, Stefanie Michaels is having her own tonight at Lavo inside The Palazzo.

The party runs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. with free vodka from 10 to 11 p.m. — which is exactly the sort of adventure that’s right in our wheelhouse. If we had to choose between running around with a bunch of lions in Africa vs. trying to cram as much Belvedere as we can down our esophagus, the jungle cats are losing 10 times out of 10.

Michaels will talk about the intersection of travel andnew media at a panel tomorrow at 3 p.m., while anyone who wants to go mingle with the Twitterati acan sign up at www.tweetbash.com.
