So you think you can dance … behind this guy?

The Palms is holding auditions for singers and dancers to back up Matt Goss, whose residency starts Sept. 4. Auditions are being held at 9:30 a.m. July 15 for singer/dancers. Just singers can sleep in until their 3 p.m. check-in. This is being billed as an audition for the “hottest, most talented female singers and dancers,” so, you know, “hottest” is probably going to trump “talented.” They can make a girl a better dancer; the hunchback is always going to be a problem, though.

To audition, bring a photo and resume. Dancers are asked to wear form-fitting clothing and high heels (you know — because of the hotness thing again). Singers should prep a 30 second song they bring with them that shows off their vocal range. Showing off the goods probably won’t hurt either — and really, even if it isn’t necessary, do it for us, won’t you?
