New York Magazine — not to be confused with purveyor of inscrutable editorial cartoons The New Yorker — recently did its Best of Vegas selections as part of their Sinning on the Cheap package. Among the honorees are MGM Grand’s Wet Republic for pool party, XS at Encore for nightclub and Frankie’s Tiki Room for local bar. Tough to take issue with any of their selections, which also give some love to The Artisan, The Orleans and The Golden Nugget in different categories. We’re not even going to hold it against them that they didn’t include a “Best Smarmy Vegas Website Where You’re Most Likely To Find Pictures Of Scantily Clad Women.” There’s always next year.
