Joan Rivers, who was to host the Comedivas show tomorrow night for The Comedy Festival, has pulled out of the production. Comedivas, with Kate Clinton, Suzanne Westenhoefer and Jim David will still go on. Rivers was the only link the festival had to the old Vegas comedy scene.

A statement says Rivers was forced to bow out due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict. You may now commence with the plastic surgery gags.

Also bowing out of the fest is Katt Williams, leaving a startling pimp-joke deficit in the lineup at Caesars. Until Jeff Dunham introduces Leroy the Pimpin’ Puppet, that is.
