Vegas native and NASCAR driver Kurt Busch will hold a charity poker tournament next week in the perfect union of ESPN2 sports that don’t require standing.
The tournament, slated for Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. at Sierra Gold (6515 S. Jones Blvd.), will benefit the Kurt Busch Foundation and proceeds will support the Victory Junction Gang Camp, which benefits children with chronic medical conditions.
The grand prize is a meet-and-greet with Busch, Sprint Cup garage passes, Sprint Cup race suite passes, helictopter transportation to and from the Las Vegas Speedway and a weekend stay at the Palms. Anyone donating $500 receives an autographed Busch die-cast collectible car. Players must register by tomorrow by e-mailing celebritypoker@kirvindoak.com or by calling 391-3633.
