Round 2 of the Rock the Roof battle of the bands continues at Diablo’s Cantina inside Monte Carlo tonight with rockers Lydia Vance, One Ton Project and Theory of Flight. We like that they’re pairing One Ton Project with Theory of Flight in a bill of “band names that cancel each other out.”

• Mist at Treasure Island holds Puff Puff Blow hookah night.
• McFadden’s inside Rio hosts Beerfest.
• Ra Sushi at Fashion Show Mall has VJ Stefan Gilmore from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
• Drai’s inside Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon stays up late for the After Life Thursday weekly DJ battle at 3 a.m.
• Tao at The Venetian does Worship Thursdays.
• Gold Diggers at the Golden Nugget has its Latin night.
• Thunderbird Lounge (1215 Las Vegas Blvd.) holds Tech-Funk Thursday with DJ XMS at 11 p.m.
• Red Room (3101 W. Sahara Ave.) does Soul Kitchen.
• Puff (1030 E. Flamingo Road) has Fantasy Karaoke Thursday with 3 Digit IQ. In the lounge, it’s Naughty Thursdays.
