FOXX, GAY VITO CHECK OUT LAX

YEAH-HEAH-HEAH! Who wants some of those Johnnycakes NOW, suckers?

Luxor’s LAX saw Jamie Foxx continue his march up and down the clubs last night as he drank Veuve Clicquot on the VIP stage, near Sopranos actor Joe Gannascoli. Gannascoli played Vito Spatafore, everyone’s favorite gay mobster who died having a broomstick shoved up his ass.

That, kids, is why crime doesn’t pay.

Also at the club were enemy of good taste Jerry Bruckheimer, singer/songwriter Ryan Cabrera, Marcus Banks of the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks draftee Joe Alexander. If we had known Bruckheimer was going to be around, we’d have brought our script to pitch. It’s a tender biopic of the life of Harriet Tubman, wherein shit blows up all up and down the Underground Railroad. We see Tracy Morgan delivering an Oscar-winning turn as Tubman.

Meanwhile, at sister venue Venus Pool club at Caesars Palace, Garth Brooks hosted a private event alongside Trisha Yearwood to benefit Brooks’ Teammates for Kids Foundation. The list of sports figures in attendance eclipses even the number of hacky Chris Gaines jokes made since 1999.

Among the slew of athletes were: Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler, San Diego Chargers linebacker Derek Smith, Buffalo Bills guard Jason Whittle, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Jeff Ulbrich and Miami Dolphins tight end Justin Peelle.

But wait! That’s not all! Current and former NFLers included: Troy Bienemann (Arizona Cardinals), Tim Euhus (Arizona Cardinals), Aaron Merz (Buffalo Bills), Dave Kadela (Carolina Panthers), Daniel Coats (Cincinnati Bengals), Brad Cieslak (Cleveland Browns), Jim Ryan (Denver Broncos), Daniel Campbell (Detroit Lions), Jon Ryan (Green Bay Packers), John Denney (Miami Dolphins), Health Farwell (Minnesota Vikings), John Dorenbos (Philadelphia Eagles), Nick Murphy (Philadelphia Eagles), Craig Terrill (Seattle Seahawks), Donnie Jones (St. Louis Rams), Nick Leckey (St. Louis Rams), Kenneth Amato (Tennessee Titans), Ray Carolin (retired), John Goldsberry (retired), Austin King (former Seattle Seahawk); NHL players Shane Hnidy (Boston Bruins), David Backes (St. Louis Blues), Greg DeVries (Nashville Predators), Vernon Fiddler (Nashville Predators), Chris Dingman (retired), Brian Engblom (retired player, current ESPN analyst) and Pat Verbeek (retired). Olympic swimmer Kelly Brook was also there. If only they could’ve gotten two decathletes and an equestrian jumper, too.
