Dennis Quaid, wife Kimberly, and Bank managing partner Jodi Myers prepare to fight Destro.
Dennis Quaid, fresh off wrapping up shooting on G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (Working title: Nerds in Heat) was at Bellagio’s Bank Friday night for Grey Goose, Jack Daniels and PJ champagne. He’s played an astronaut, a general and Sam Houston. Of course he drinks whiskey.
Also inside the club were Boston Celtics Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. Yes, yes, we get it city of Boston. You’re excited about the championship. Wonderful. Now if we could all move on to the Red Sox getting swept in Fenway by the Rays, I think the rest of the country would be a little happier. Allen also made his way to Wet Republic at MGM Grand yesterday.
Meanwhile Friday night at Jet proved that you can’t keep a good skank down as Rock of Love 2 castoffs Heather, Destiney and Meagan hosted in celebration of their new series, I Love Money — which brings together Rock of Love, Flavor of Love and I Love New York contestants in a spectacle of awesomeness more powerful than they ever could have been on their own. Like Voltron for horrible, horrible people.
Bette Midler, Siegfried, Bernie Yuman, David Brenner and Bobby Slayton all turned up at Spago inside Caesars Palace during different times of the day. It’s good to see them catering to the young, hip crowd.
Someone call Bret Ratner! We’ve found the stars of Rush Hour 4!
Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas was poolside at Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday, resting up for bandmate Apl.de.ap’s performance later that night at Body English. Disturbia actor Aaron Yoo was also at the Smashtime party, but declined to get it started in here at any point during the evening.
On Friday night, Brandon Rush, drafted 13th overall by the Portland Trailblazers and then traded to the Indiana Pacers was celebrating with a little Cristal at Body English. He’s just happy he didn’t get stuck on the Knicks.
Katy Perry, who does the Hot 100 No. 1 song “I Kissed a Girl” was in the crowd at Friday night’s Gym Class Heroes show inside The Joint. Not to be confused with Jill Sobule, who released an atrocious song of the same name with an unrelentingly twee music video in 1995.
“This is bullshit! Posh Spice’s cake was THIS big.”
Nicole Scherzinger celebrated her birthday Saturday night first at Company American Bistro, then at LAX inside Luxor. The Pussycat Dolls singer was joined by the rest of the group, Kimberly Wyatt, Melody Thorton, Ashley Roberts and Jessica Sutta to do a surprise performance of “Don’t Cha,” “When I Grow Up” and “Buttons.” Way to make the poor girl work when she’s trying to party. If there’s one day a year she shouldn’t have to belt out “Don’t Cha,” it’s on her birthday.
Svengali Robin Antin and producer Marco Bruno were also on hand for the celebration.
Meanwhile, over at Social House inside Treasure Island, Mena Suvari was having dinner with two friends. Suvari’s last film was The Mysteries of Pittsburgh. The mystery? Why hasn’t the city burned Sid Bream at the stake in an attempted exorcism.
Ricky, Ricky, Ricky, can’t you see? Well, the patch probably doesn’t help, actually.
Everybody’s favorite eyepatch-wearing rapper, Slick Rick, hosts Money for Nothing Monday tonight at Prive inside planet Hollywood Resorts. It’s a good thing they’re bringing him in, because he likes to party. He don’t give a damn and he don’t hurt nobody. Once you go and get “Children’s Story” crossed off your list, you’ll just have to wait for a rare Fat Boys reunion to hear “All You Can Eat” live before your life is complete. My Stepmother is an Alien star Juliette Lewis was on hand at Prive inside Planet Hollywood Resort Saturday night to celebrate her 35th birthday with four friends. They drank Mojitos, Grey Goose and Perrier-Jouet Rose champagne. Lewis danced on the couches while grinding on her girlfriends before wrapping things up around 3:30 a.m. To be fair, her excitement wasn’t just for her birthday, but she’s still that psyched about Natural Born Killers co-star Robert Downey Jr.’s success with Iron Man. She was equally enthusiastic four years ago about Woody Harrelson’s turn in She Hate Me.
On Friday at Prive, Lauren Bosworth celebrated her graduation from UCLA. So now she can finally get down to the serious business of 20th century existential philosophy after putting all that MTV stuff behind her.

Gossip Girl star and subject of endless speculation over his relationship with co-star Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, celebrated his 21st birthday Friday night at Tao inside The Venetian Friday night. Crawford was supposed to show, but canceled. As we all know, that’s a time-honored code for a lovers’ quarrel in progress. Lucy and Desi first used it in the ’50s when Arnez was spotted alone at Toots Shor’s. “Lucy!” he says, “Lucy ain’t hoooooome!”
Westwick and 30 friends and family were in from New York and London, including Westwick’s parents. After dinner, everyone moved upstairs to the nightclub where Westwick was presented with his second cake of the evening.
Wait, Khloe Kardashian is taller than Reggie Bush? Someone get her in the draft. (Photo by Erik Kabik)
You couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting a Kardashian Friday night at Pure inside Caesars Palace. How you even got the dead cat past the bouncer is kind of a mystery, but well done, sir.
Youngest sister Khloe Kardashian celebrated her birthday Friday night at the club, joined by sibs Kim, Kourtney and Robert Jr., who brought significant others Reggie Bush, Scott Disick and Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon, respectively. Mother Kris Kardashian and Bush’s Saints teammate Bobby McCray were also there to start the evening at Social House at Treasure Island before the gang relocated to Pure’s VIP stage. As the crew toasted with Dom Perignon, we hope they at least gave a cursory nod to O.J. for helping to set them on the road to fame. Click for more words and pictures »
Wet Republic at MGM Grand does Daylife Sundays at 11 a.m. with legendary DJ Benny Benassi on his Rock N Rave Tour. Benassi brings a touch of Italy to the pool party, by which we mean he’ll be periodically sprinkling oregano on girls in bikinis. Looking for sun in all the wrong places? Read on. Go ahead. Try to deny a Hello Kitty chestplate is the most awesome thing you’ve ever seen. (Via myspace.com/airguitarnation)
Not since Journey recorded the Separate Ways video has this much rocking been done without instruments. At 7 p.m. in the Carnival Court at Harrah’s, the Las Vegas regional of the U.S. Air Guitar Championships pits the best and the brightest in the field of pantomime-rock against each other. Perhaps, though — perhaps you hate joy, and air guitar isn’t your thing. We understand. Communist. Click for more words and pictures »

LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers was with a group of friends last night at Tao inside The Venetian until the wee hours. That’s when the Kardashian clan rolled in, taking a VIP table sometime shortly after 3 a.m.
Khloe Kardashian didn’t even get LeBron to “H” in the ensuing game of HORSE.
Also last night, Dennis Quaid checked into the Hard Rock Hotel. He arrived via rocket.
