It’s Memorial Day, so you know what that means: A three-day weekend where you get 24 extra hours where someone doesn’t have to pry that bottle of Jim Beam out of your booze-soaked hands. God Bless America.

Over the next 72 hours, there’s enough stuff going on in town to give a midget the fits, but we’re going to start things off with a peak at Sunday night and Monday’s goings-on, because we know you want to plan your extra day off instead of getting stuck fighting for a spot at your complex’s pool while dozens of spastic kids run around all day with their God-damned unending enthusiasm for life that does nothing but interrupt your “Mojito-and-me” time.

DJ Erick Morillo, who last year spun a set until 7 a.m. will be at The Venetian’s Tao Sunday night, and tickets can be purchased in advance. Apparently, naps should be taken in advance, too.

Also Sunday night, the Playboy Club at The Palms debuts its video wall with DJ Mark Stylz, where he’ll be mixing music and video simultaneously across the 60 plasma sets along the club’s south wall.

Jet and The Bank, at The Mirage and Bellagio, respectively, double dip with DJ Tiesto on his In Search of Sunrise summer tour. Jet has the DJ on Sunday night, while The Bank gets him on Monday. It’s just like when mom and dad were fighting over you.

Diablo’s Cantina at Monte Carlo is transforming into a two-story club this weekend, starting at 11 p.m. tonight with DJs on each level, and will be keeping the party going straight through until Sunday.

Once you’re done spending all that time at Diablo’s, you can head over the Jet, where DJ Roonie G leads the Blow Your Wad! AV Party, and then call in sick to work on Tuesday. Everyone knows a four-day weekend is better than a three-dayer, anyway.
