Avril Lavigne dropped in on Tabu at MGM Grand last night for its Rok Box party, drinking Grey Goose Screwdrivers until 3 a.m. Lavigne is in town for a show tonight at The Pearl inside The Palms. Lavigne, according to Canadian Business Online, was the seventh-most powerful Canadian in Hollywood in 2006, which really doesn’t speak well of Canada. She ranked behind Jim Carrey, Mike Myers and William Shatner, but ahead of an empty Molson bottle, a dirty set of goalie’s pads and Matthew Perry.

Also at Tabu last night was Dennis Haskins, who isn’t Canadian, but if he were, would probably rank somewhere between Shatner and Keanu Reeves.

Following the concert, the official afterparty will be at Moon, featuring DJ P, who will showcase no fewer than 14 independent remixes of “Sk8er Boi.”
